The first is to find better ways to handle the bottlenecks that are caused by an increased network traffic. The second is to discover new ways to provide content that doesn’t require an increase in network bandwidth.
First up is to reduce latency. This is one of those things that seems obvious, but its not always so obvious. If you have a web page that only shows the latest 20th of a month, you will have to wait a little longer for the new content to load. If you only have a news feed, you don’t have to wait for the new headline to appear.
the solution is to reduce the amount of data that needs to travel across the network, and make sure that the data you send is relevant. This means that you can send more relevant data with less bandwidth, and you can send less data with more bandwidth.
The two biggest things are the use of “push” and “pull” models. The push model is when all the data is on the same network. A single server can send all the updates to your service on a minute by minute basis. The pull model is when you only have the latest data and you send it to one network where the other network has the older data. This is what most people use today.
Push models are the most common. They’re also often the easiest to implement because they require only one server. Pull models, on the other hand, require more servers.
I think the most obvious example of a pull model is the one that says, “I’m going to move to a new server and I’ll have some work to do, but I want to be the one who can manage all the stuff I’ve got to do.” The reason I don’t use this model is because it’s based on a few assumptions. If you’ve got a large server to run the servers on, it’s likely because there’s a lot of demand on the server.
The server is my main server, and the only servers I have are my personal servers, but this model is the one I have in mind for this trailer. On my personal server, I have about 15 servers and I have about 300 clients. It seems like the only thing I have is 1 server.
Like others, Ive found that my personal server is a bit too much, but it works well enough for my needs. Its a combination of my two personal servers and my main server. I use this model because I have a lot of servers I don’t need to be bothered with running. I have a few on my personal server for when I just feel like playing a fun game on my phone.
Most of us have a “main server” we play on all the time. I think we can all agree that its a pretty good model to use. The beauty of a main server is that you never have to worry about scaling your load because you can scale your load as you need to.
