Sirope is a new game from the same folks who created Last End, an indie game I reviewed a while back. In a nutshell, Sirope gives players the ability to play the game “as a time loop” by running through a series of rooms and rooms of rooms. This time loop ends when the player dies by way of a deadly, deadly door.
I was trying to figure out how to use this concept, so I spent some time doing it in this trailer. The game is a great example of how self-aware thinking can be part of the process. It has a lot of time to do the math: the game is a lot more complicated than usual and takes up a lot of time that’s been spent in trying to figure out how to do it.
The game is also a good example of how the right mix of stealth, power, and style can make a game great. You can get to the point that you kill everyone in the room by just walking up to them. It’s not just cool because of the way you use your powers, it’s great because you get to take out a lot of people.
I think the stealth aspect of the game is the most effective and fun part. The game has a level design that is so realistic that a player is not really aware they are in a stealth game, or that the whole thing is part of their game. The combat system is very well done and is very realistic where you have an object that you can shoot at if you know the area and your enemy is close. I am always impressed by how fast things happen and how well they work together.
The game has a lot of different enemies in mind. For example, there are multiple enemies that are not necessarily enemies, but rather enemies that can be seen and fight. The main difficulty is that people who have no experience with the game will only see the enemy, then a few seconds later they can see a second enemy. It is very obvious that there is a way to get them and maybe that is how you want to play the game.
If you have a bit of a personality, then you can do something and it doesn’t take away from the gameplay and your life. The first thing you do is to get into the game and make a game that’s fun and engaging. If you feel like you have to do it all together, then you can try to do it all in one huge game.

That’s cool, but since I’m not a game critic, I have absolutely no idea what the game is about other than to say, “The game is about the people who are not.” In that sense, it’s a bit on the “not good” side of the spectrum.
