The layout gallery has one page that’s pretty easy to access and its the page with all your layouts for easier browsing. You can click on the layout gallery and then the “add a new layout” page. There are a couple things that you have to do when adding a new layout. First, you have to click on your layout and then click on “add a new layout”. Next you have to fill in the new layout details.

You can click on the layout gallery to see the previews for your current layout. One of the things you can do is add a new layout preview for your layout. After you click on your layout, you can see your layout preview.

If you don’t have a new layout, then scroll down to the main layout (the one you’ve added to the layout gallery) and click on add a new layout preview. You can then see the preview for the new layout.
There’s not a lot of difference between adding a new layout and adding a new layout preview. The difference, though, is that the new layout preview is always just a preview. You can go on and play with it but you can’t really get to grips with it.

Its one of those things that you use on a whim and then realise you really want to build your own layout, so you just create your own layout. Its a good way of giving your own layouts a little personality without having to worry that they will be changed every time you update your profile.
